Got the legend..now some questions

I live in northeast colo, not much minerlization here. Sand, in outer areas. And farm fields are very fertile grounds, single freq is better but still noisy , to me. I have contacted nokta, they want to see a video of the problem..so when it warms up a bit, 4 degrees right now, I'll get that done.

Running higher sensitivity is probably just me and not the ground. I am going after deeper targets and I run detectors as hot as I can which means I hear some noise. Running lower sensitivity or lots of discrimination to obtain silent search conditions would also drive me nuts😊
Not running max sensitivity, whatever it was at for default is where i first noticed the issue.

Mine has always been chatty as well. It is very taxing on the ears and I get noise fatigued after an hour. Running in single frequency helps a lot, but it is still chatty from the EMI around me. You can run hotter in SF and therefore deeper. Just choose the frequency for the targets you would like to hunt, and adjust settings accordingly from there.

I haven't been able to calm it down, but it is a decently hot detector. I have adjusted to its chirpy language and it has been doing well for me overall.

Do you use or have you tried the lg24?

The smaller coils generally do better in emi but there are trade offs of course..depth maybe (can run higher though) obviously coverage.

Well I've done 3 things, unplugged coil, and made sure it was plugged in all the way and tight, 2 took coil cover off and cleaned it, 3 factory default the machine. What a difference... could run sens at 20, didnt go higher. But sounded totally different. Hardly any noise at all, didn't ground balance or noise cancel. So i hope it continues from here. Thanks everybody for all the suggestions. Appreciate all of you who replied, thanks stan
