    G2 and ID numbers

    Have you guys noticed that the G2 will also give you ID numbers on items in the AM mode? My G2 will ID a 14k gold ring in disc mode at 12-13" with a soft tone @ 53/54. In AM mode it will give the same ID number @ 9" but father out it will not, even though it is still hitting the ring @ 13-14"...
