    A friend and I went to the beach and he got about what I got and I got $ 38.03 clad with the mxt and 5.3 coil.

    This is my 3rd time out with the mxt and 5.3 coil . Went to the beach and got a silver chain and about $20 to $30 in clad, I'll have to clean it to know. It is a lot of nickels, dimes, quarters and some dollar and very few penny there.

    What kind of depth on a dime will you get with sov. gt with a 5" coil??

    The manual said calibration is on 170, but have read on forums that some people us 180 are does make any difference?

    went back to the old house today

    with the f75 and 3x7 coil and got 3.27 clad, 1967 half, 1935-s, 1964-d , 1946 dimes, buffalo no date, 1908 V nickel, silver pin and I don't know what BB co. is.

    Today hunt for silver

    Well went with the f75 and 3x7 coil and got 5.31 clad, silver dimes = 1943-d, 1939-d, 1962, 1964-d , half silver = 1966, 2- 1967, 2- 1964-d, and a 1921-s dollar. The old f75's just are not any good. HA HA

    No Larry I not here to start anything . But you know this is the USA and I do have the right to ask a question. And yes I do like the f75 , but think the DFX & v3 should be a very good detector. And thinking very hard about getting one. Thanks for the comment.
