    Did a little better than I would have if I had of left my detector at home, not much better tho, Headed out early in Bugarmobile for spot bout 25 miles distant=Not smart enough to check the weather till bout half way there, temp was 38-40 degrees with light rain and 20 -+ wind-nasty-nasty...

    Was a messin in the front yard, and got some beepin under the edge of this large rock, dug it out got a green round thingie with piece of square stuff stickin out, cleaned it up=LO AND BEHOLD,= a brass lightning rod ball, still had a piece of rod in it= where from ???? never been no houses...

    WOW= was kinda wondering on how the batteries would hold up, am still running on the stock Ray O Vacs from Malasia, got bunch of hours on them and still got 3 bars of power left, I think with Energizers or Duracell, should run at least 50 - 60 hours, sure seems like a miser on using the ol'...

    With Master Hunter- while I was on one end of field the farmer was a workin the other end a comin my way, with some big kinda thing, doin farmer things, soooo hadda hurry up, just got some junk, but was a nice day anyhow. spose to rain for bout a week now=AARRGGGhhhh=:garrett::detecting:

    Well!! was little concerned, because it was heavier than I have been using, got over that, it is balanced so well, that when swinging I have to hold the coil down, if I go too fast it will come right up to waist height,, the ID and depth on coins is right on at reasonable depths 8" or...

    Didn' get out a beepin, did assemble, LORDY, they built good, bout like a tank, checked out alla the features and did some air test in case I see flyin dimes, they b in trubble, mebbe tomorra I get out, like all Garretts, built for keeps, and even looks good, excellent balance with 7 x 10 ellip...
