Was a messin in the front yard, and got some beepin under the edge of this large rock, dug it out got a green round thingie with piece of square stuff stickin out, cleaned it up=LO AND BEHOLD,= a brass lightning rod ball, still had a piece of rod in it= where from ???? never been no houses around here till we had this un built, = COOL FIND= so cleaned it up and am making a walking stick/cane for me to use= post pic when done= Scorpion doin a fine job=FINE:clapping:
 
What's the piece of rod made of? In the old days ( 1800's ) when platinum was worthless they used it to make lightning rods out of it along with dentures and many other things. Prospectors used to throw it away.
