:ranting: The e-trac does not like relics at all! See the picture for yourself...

The e-trac doesn't like them - it LOVES them!!!!!!!!!!! 2 hour hunt after work. Not much trash. All projectiles were 7 to 10 inches deep. The big ones hit 12 - 22 fe and 33 - 35 co. I can't tell if the one is chewed or not? Even the Buck-n-ball was deep. All this from a well hunted...

 What does a broken water main and two Mercury dimes have in common?

Answer - Both were found the same day. Story - Me and Bill planned a hunt this morning. I was planning to meet him at 10am. When I pulled out of my driveway I noticed my water service had broken and water was coming down the drive. The first thing that came to mind was "Oh crap. I'm not...

:detecting: E-trac Maiden Voyage. This just might get interesting only if you read it? :detecting:

Went hunting about 3 weeks ago with my buddy Bill S. He was swinging his E-trac finding some deep targets for my two machines to check. He was getting good high tones with good co numbers and both my machines either wouldn't beep or indicated spotty iron. I even cranked both machines all the...

:detecting: ATpro envy? How to be successful with your 150, 250 and 350 :beers:

Are you seeing all the great finds being posted with the ATpro/gold machines? Want to find some of that nice jewelry? Well it seems that most of the ATpro/gold users are hunting in either zero mode or with some iron discrimination. Really this is key to finding the jewelry. Your not going to...

Thanks Garrett for such great service!

My Atpro was involved in an accident. The rod got bent and the housing broke off where it mounts on the rod. I wanted the upgrade anyway. So off to Garrett it went. In less than a week it was back to me! Plus a new housing and faceplate to boot.! Just got permission to hunt 4 private...

:detecting: Looking for a non working Garrett G series machine or...:detecting:

My GTA 1000 got in a wreck. Really the only thing that is good is the control head. The coil and battery pack is broke to pieces. Even the part on the shaft that the head slides on. So if you have a cheap non working G series machine with any old coil let me know. It would be any of the...

Drought may bring new areas to hunt in Missouri :detecting:

I have seen several big creeks dry around my area. One I know of has several swimming holes. I just checked to see who owns the river-ways. From my reading if a river or large creek "can" be navigated by boat or raft at anytime it's owned by the state up to the high water mark. Even if some...

:twodetecting: Waterproof Coinmaster for sale :twodetecting:

It started with a brand new Whites Coinmaster. All components were new that I used. New Pelican case with pressure equalizer and Blue Sea cable clam. I used new ear buds but can easily be converted to your favorite headphones. I built this machine without de-soldering or soldering of any...

Cheap Silicone grease for your seals bought locally. :detecting:

I had already bought a $15 tube of silicone grease when I got my silicone seals. Today I was at Lowe's and needed some plumbers grease because I was out on my work truck and my new tube was at home. So I looked by the thread sealant and there it was - Plumbers Silicone grease. It used to be...

Been doing a lot of evening and night hunts because it's so hot. The light switch is connected to the machine power switch so it only works when the machine is on. I tried several different configurations of the LED's. From reflecting mirrors, one LED, 2 LED's, acrylic light bars.... you name...

    Had a 30, 50 and 70 a few years back and

Just wondering if that little bug has been fixed that made some turn off by themselves? One of mine did. Also is the 5x10 fullt waterproof now? Thinking about the new smell of a 705. I haven't read any issues with the 305, 505 or 705's
