    At Pro

Hey guy's, Read on another forum that since the AT PRO had all the trouble at the beginning and change was made to correct it that the newer models lost some sensitivity and depth. Any of you long time users have any info on that?

Anyone out there try the 13 inch dd coil from kellyco on their omega ?

Seen they had a 13 inch dd coil for sell on their site. Which was about the same price as the 11 inch dd from teknetics.

Omega 8000 not many people talking about it ?

Have my eye on a omega . I had a fisher f5 before and a AT Pro. What will this detector do with a 11inch DD coil on it? Will it hang with the big boys as far as coin hunting goes ? T2,F75 , AT Pro ! Looking for good info on this detector. It looks good does it perform as well as it looks?

    F5 with 11inch DD coil

Will the 11 inch DD coil give the f5 better depth on deep targets the way it does with the Omega. I would think it would be on par with the AT Pro with that coil on. Anyone use one on there f5?

American diggers ... What a joke!

Has anyone out there seen this show ? If anything will give the hobby a bad name it's this show. Have you seen the way they dig ? They just rip the heck out of things and the stuff they find is worth big bucks. Funny how most people have used metal detectors for years and years and never come...

Have a AT PRO for sale.

Great detector only used it a couple times. My friend and I bought them at the same time to go hunting together but work has been booming and have had no time to hunt with it. Only a couple times in the spring. Now I need to sale it to cover some medical bills that have come up. It comes with a...

Taking all my old silver coins to the coin collector tomorrow.

They range from dimes to quarter and halves form the 1870's to 1960's. All found with Garrett detectors. See what they bring. They have been collecting dust and from time to time a new one finds it's way into the bag. Not worth anything setting here for years and with silver prices up why not...

    Pinpointing with the AT PRO

Has anyone de-tuned the AT Pro when pinpointing to get a smaller target response ? I find that pinpointing a target using the top segments isn't always dead on. Most of the time the target is off the back or side of the center hole on the coil. Not as dead on as the 2500 or 1500. Which makes...

Out for the first real hunt with the AT PRO.:detecting:

Took the AT Pro out for it's first real spin today. Hit a spot that I hammered for years. Me and about 1000 other people..lol Any how with in 5 minutes of searching I got a hard hit in the 80's . The signal was loud and clear. From about four inches out came a 1940 Merc. About 10 feet from that...

Has anyone done a depth comparison with the AT Pro...

On the depth difference between standard and Pro mode ?

Who uses a coil cover out there ?

Do you really need one with the newer coils? I've used them in the past with other detectors I've had like the ones with the white GTI coils that could break very easy. But these new coils don't look like you would need a cover.

Only got out for one hunt with the AT PRO and wouldn't you know...

SNOW and lot's of it. Cold temps the rest of the week means it's going to be here for awhile. I think that I'm going ground hog hunting ! He said we are going to have a early spring...lol

Got out for a little while with my AT PRO.

I can say the audio on this detector is AWESOME ! I still need to get the Iron audio down. The low high low get's me thinking there is a good target in the iron when I hear the high tone sound. I've been over this tot lot with my F5.The AT had nice tones on dimes and nickles at 8 inches and...
