    If you rely on VDI numbers and not tones the regular Xterra numbers bounce like a basketball in a NBA game and you have to ignore the screen and listen to the tones,the Elite might be and hopefully is more stable on VDI numbers

    Opinion on the Deus 1

    D1 has found me more than any other top end detector that I own but probably because I have put a lot of hours on it also due to the light weight and being able to swing it longer without arm fatigue,now I’m limited on detecting because of my knees and hips fatiguing on me thanks to Ol Author 😁

    Explorer SE VDI numbers not right?

    I know this is old but shift frequency and check vdi at each frequency change and there should be one frequency that the vdi is correct my sons se pro was off and this corrected it,my se pro hold same vdi on any of the alternate frequencies

    Just Curious.

    The flux capacitors in metal detectors penetrate deeper in wet soil but less in soaked soils and will eat up all the garbage you swing over 😂😂 ,but seriously wet is deeper and soaked is shallower in my soil,I get way less depth in the dry summer months

    Listen to your T2 , vdi is only an aid not a given I only use the vdi when I get a iffy tone to help decide to dig or not,put electrical tape over the screen so the vdi numbers are not seen and run it several hours and you will be amazed at how well you remember the tones for common dug...
