    BIG gold at the beach this weekend!!

    Put about 9 hours in this weekend in Europe. Lots of coins, mostly in the grass and a a big 11 gram 750 (18kt) kid's Gold bracelet from 52 years ago in the grass! Using a combination of my Not 800 with sniper coil, and the Manticore on the sand and in the water.

    back in Switzerland for the weekend and hit the beach and was rewarded with gold and 25 Swiss francs face (about $27). Gold is 14k Star of David. The Manticore is hot on really small pieces, and those little aluminum clips from Italian salami sound off in the mid 40s and are the devil to find.

    Cabela's gives a 5% military discount, and often runs 10% off days. there is no difference between them and the big box detector online stores who don't even have a physical presence anymore. I personally like going to my local dealer who is part of my club.

    Bottom line is that me and my Manticore are separated by 6000 miles. I working in Saudi Arabia and my detector is in Washington DC. to top that, detectors are completely forbidden in Saudi and subject to confiscation and Massine fines/prison, so it ain't coming here. I'll order another one...
