    Manticore Water Hunt - Post Speaker Issue.

    I know of 1 other guy that had this issue. Water had got into the headphone jack on the Manticore. While the female jack was damp the speaker would not work. He had to leave his headphone plug cover open over night to dry out. Since then he has had no other issues.

    I ain't necessarily saying it is electro-plating, just going off of the pictures. You could get that same effect on a quarter, by a couple different ways. 1: You could put a sticker on it & then bead blast the quarter. It would leave a shiny spot in the shape of a star where the sticker was...

    I don't know this for sure, but I don't look for Minelab to offer anymore software updates for the Equinox 600/800 series detectors. I only say this because they released the new Equinox 700/900 series detectors to take the place of the Equinox 600/800 series detectors.

    Do you think on the 1 Oz copper round the detector was/is seeing/processing it as a overload & no target ID is given when you are sweeping down the center of the coil. Didn't the 5oz silver bar kinda have the same affects on it as well. Wonder what a Morgan silver dollars shows on it for...
