    Is the triple score stable

Sounds like you might have got a bad one or had a loose connection, maybe the area had high EMI. I have about 100 hrs on my Legend. Using the LG24 coil I can max out the sensitivity in most areas if I want. Before I noise cancel I do max it out to scan for potential hot spots then usually settle...

    Bone conduction headphone

Can't speak to that brand. I use Ziocom open air conduction phones. They work quite well, good audio and no lag. 50 bucks on Amazon.

    Got a bucket lister today

The three stars means it a Type ll. Type l (no stars on the back ) 1916 and some of 1917 had a bare breasted Lady Liberty but too many complained so they put the chain mail across her chest. Either way great save and congrats on the find. Mark

Didn't think there would be much there...boy was I wrong

Heck yeah, what a score. Congrats Jimmy. The research paid off quite well for you. A honey hole for sure. Different settings, different coils and hitting it from every direction would be my plan. No telling what else the site holds. Again well done and good luck on your return. Mark

First park hunt with the legend.

I have their wireless headphones, the audio is pretty good. But after a few hours they seem to pinch a bit. For warm weather hunting I use Ziocom Open air conduction headphones. They work quite well. No lag, good sound. I like being able to hear whats going on around me. The only drawback I see...

Just looked at a ring I found 875 gold

Oh man what a find. Looks like it came from the Emerald Isle an being Irish that would be a special find for me. Congrats on the beautiful Claddagh Mark. A great save for sure.

One nickel at a time ends up being a herd of buffalo 🦬

Agree with you. But lowering the volume on either side of the nickel bin really helps you to pay less attention to the less important while making the mid-tones a no doubt , need to investigate this signal. Good luck. Mark

One nickel at a time ends up being a herd of buffalo 🦬

I think my best was 4 Buffs in one hunt. You seem to be at it a lot longer then me, only started in 2015 and till I got an Etrac the nickels seem to elude me. For the first 2 years it seemed like the Buff was my white whale. When I got the 800 in 18 nickels were all I dug on some hunts. Over 450...

One nickel at a time ends up being a herd of buffalo 🦬

Jimmy if you will permit me, hell maybe you already do this. Anyway with the 800 & the 900 I would set bin 2 for midtones. on the 900 bin 2 is 22 thru 29. I don't change the pitch, which is 6. Very pronounced, but what I do do, ya dodo ha ha bin one volume is set low, for me around 3. bin2 is at...

One nickel at a time ends up being a herd of buffalo 🦬

Heck Jimmy that is a whole herd. Congrats. I love the mid-tones and the old nickels that come with it. Congrats on the Merc and other finds as well..

    Took the Legend plunge

Congrats on the new rig. For me the Id spread is just about right. I bitched about the tight scale on the 800 and was happy to see -19to 99 when they came out with the 900. After a year or so I found its scale was too much and unstable. #s all over the place. The Legend does well and I did not...

900s first hunt with the Upgrade.

Thank you. The labor and the craftsmanship. The stone and brickwork was just outstanding as was the carpentry.

900s first hunt with the Upgrade.

Thank you Mark thanks. I had thought about that spot in the past just never got around to it till I heard the news it was being torn down. Thank you Ted. The heat and mainly dry ground has kept me from getting out as well. Digging wasn't too bad. I boogered a couple plugs but I figured given...

900s first hunt with the Upgrade.

Was thinking I should post in the comparison section but this was more of a go over the same area I had hunted in mid-June with the Legend. Yesterday was the first time out since that hunt. I used the Legend on that hunt at a church that was being torn down. The one I attended as a lad. Have...

Got out today and hit a special house.

That token would have made my day, Sweet save, congrats. World's Fair tokens are on the top of my bucket list. To date have only found one and that was back when I first started and it helped seal the deal as far as addiction is concerned. Good luck on your return.

    Coil recommendation needed for Legend

Not a water hunter but I do like the Lg24. Use it pretty much all of the time. In the dirt It will hit a 8 or 9 inch dime with little or no problem. Mark

    7/3/24 hunt with Equinox 900

Nice haul Ted. Congrats on the silver and other finds. Particularly the SLQ. Always a special treat. Like you I average about one a year and this years silver count is at a meager 6. My last hunt was also at a church that was being torn down, built in 1896. It was the church I attended as a kid...

Ok so what's the go to low latency ear buds right now???

Keep in mind the wireless headphones that come with the one package are the ML85s. That means you will need a transmitter to use any third party headphones. Minelab really screwed us when they went proprietary, got greedy or both on the audio. A decent one will run you around thirty bucks. I...
