    Nox-600 or Nox-800..? What's Better..??

Nope, Beach and water hunting only then the 600 is fine. Adjustability is very handy in all other ground conditions.

    TID on deep targets ?

I’ve dug quite a few deep targets that buzzed iron and only showed TID in one direction. When dug from large depth were positive non ferrous targets. After checking the hole they were the only thing there. Things get funny at the edge of detection. Having a test garden to learn the sounds of...

"Hello. Hello. XP Headquarters. Do you read me?"

To have your "one Button check" all you need to do is save each of the programs next to each other in open spots like 12 13 lets say Then use the plus or minus to go back and forth between them easy as pie.

Another 50 tone vs. 5 tone question.

Agreed Dan, that's what I said and exactly how I adjust the tones. Less useless information.

Another 50 tone vs. 5 tone question.

50 tones to what benefit ? I say this. No matter what frequency or coil size no matter what settings used. If the Equinox sees a target it will first assign a TID Number to the target detected then it will make a tone that is representative of that number. If it's in an accepted range. (not...

    V3 software hunt

My understanding is that 4Khz is available as a single frequency only. Not to be part of Multi.

    V3 software hunt

Did you happen to try the new frequency or just your normal settings? I did try the 4khz repeatedly on targets that I had located while in Multi. Some of them it hit hard and others not so much but it did have them all. I don't know what else to say about that.

    V3 software hunt

This mornings hunt was a lot about beating the heat and needing a hunt. There was also the new V3 software update for the Equinox which I was interested to see in action. One of the claims of this update was stability improvements to all programs. My impression is that it did get better and I...

    Earphones and hearing aids

It sounds to me that you have two choices. Try the WS5 over ear headphones or use the Grey ghosts that you already own with a wired hookup to the remote control. You will need a converter from mini to standard jack size.
