    Dimes

Saltwater tourist beach I hunt has a extremely high number of those tent pegs, I mean all over. They are certainly heavier than dimes or pennies. It may be just luck but following my pal ,who won't dig them, can be interesting. I've dug maybe two dozen of them from a 15 yard stretch...

    Does anyone do this????

There's no doubt that going over a beaten sit with another machine or even a different coil can bring some surprises. Even hunting from a different direction will help. I find myself digging more questionable (iffy) targets while hunting these type of sites. Which brings some surprises once...

Unearthed, between an upscale soccer field and it's bleachers.

Clips onto something from a Range Rover. Well as Johnny Cash sang. "One Piece at a Time"

Bet what ever this was clipped to, wasn't cheap.

Dug between soccer field and bleachers. Anyway I own a piece of a Range Rover. Just for giggles and nothing else to do. Am going to stop at a nearby dealership parts department and see what it's off of.

Anyone out there have any idea what this structure is?

In western Pa. There are structures quite like these overlooking a small river. They were used as smelters. I couldn't say thats what these are but they seem to be from the same era. Late 1800's Early 1900's

Dating a site by coin dates

Oldest coin I've ever found was a Indian Head. Found it laying on top of fresh bark mulch at a Elementary school. Nice coin but under the circumstances, didn't make my day.b

Dating a site by coin dates

As strange also, found only 2 empty brass, half dozen shot lead. Only pennies found that day were not in this area. Maybe six tabs. It's like everything was dug except the clad. And we're all sure that didn't happen. Got to find a local who knows more about this.

Dating a site by coin dates

Few days ago I came across an area at a Little League complex and park. Was told there was a pistol range once along side this hill. There are still feint lines where the shooting tables where subported by posts and also for the target line. Ok, so I dug 26 quarters from this area. The...

At Pro finds old class ring plus silver ring

Larbear that's a couple of nice finds. Isn't it funny when something comes up and you got to move to another site, than Wammo. Some call it Karma.

So ole Trusty had another adventure, At Pro tipped with the 5x8 coil.

Cleaned up that clad from the pistol range. Years ranged from 65 to 97 being the newest. The 90's had the most coins. So I guess sometime around 97, they ripped out the range for a L League field.

So ole Trusty had another adventure, At Pro tipped with the 5x8 coil.

Went back with another machine with a 10 inch coil. Squeezed out another 65 cents. Surprisingly not much lead or brass with each machine. Now how the brass and lead was picked up and why the coins were left really doesn't make a lot of sense. That 65 cents came with 4 dimes and a quarter...

So ole Trusty had another adventure, At Pro tipped with the 5x8 coil.

Oh no bling while on the sidelines of this Little League complex. I and somebody else keep this area cleaned up. Anyway, drifted over to where something else must have gone on years ago. Later found out a old pistol range. So along the now gone firing tables and along the target line dug up...

    looking at used AT pro...

I confess that I don't have any experance with the newer generation of computer ehansed machines. But my made first year AT Pro never seems to let me down. Now I'm just using it in parks and dry sand. What I do notice is the biggest difference between the Pro and other machines I hunt is...
