    my best find today

We've got a bald eagle living around the golf course where I play golf, he's a real beaut. He won't let you get that close to him but every now and then he'll fly right over our heads, maybe I'll be able to get a good picture some day.

After 45 years scratched a big one off the bucket list 😀.

200 years old, that's pushing the clock way back! I didn't even know they made a half cent. After you get some rain around there you should be able to get some more goodies . Way to go on your bucket list coin.

What is the best beep and dig machine(s) you have ever owned or still owned?

White's 5000D was my favorite beep and dig, it would go deep.

    Got a bucket lister today

Congratulations on your bucket Lister, how deep down was it? Seems like 90% of these SLQ you can't read the date.

    Multi tools.

Reminds me of a boy's scout knife, I had one when I was growing up. This knife has it all, you could rebuild your car with it.

Didn't think there would be much there...boy was I wrong

I'd definitely get back in that area and grid it in every direction. That's what I call a honey hole, way to go Jimmy! That quarter is in excellent condition, had to be dropped around 1925.

Have to make a decision and Need prayers on this one

Sounds to me like you've gone more than the extra mile. I would advise you to put her in a long care facility, they are suited to handle these situations.

    Short Hunt

Anytime you get silver, it's a good day detecting. It's just to dry here in WV for metal detecting, yesterday our newspaper said we are the driest state in the country right now, the whole state is under drought warnings. Haven't mowed the grass in two weeks and it's still not needing mowed.

Can't say that I've ever saw a quarter like that. I'm interested in what other people might think.

    Only one coin

Great find! Grid the area off in small sections, like 10' by 10' and go slow while listening for those deep faint targets. Also if there is two of you hunting together again keep at least 30 feet between you so the machines don't overlap each other. Those new permission sites are tough to...

Got out today and hit a special house.

Sounds like you guys had a blast, has to be some deep silver in that place, you guys just took off the top layer on your first trip.

    Twin sisters

Thanks for putting my pictures up. Both dimes were only about 4" deep and they weren't that close together. It was hot and the ground was dry but finding that first dime in the first hour of the hunt and then the second one in about another hour later kept my dobber up. Probably the last two...

    Sun Glare

The only answer I can think of is just hunt at angles that don't create glare, usually you can turn just a few degrees and get the glare off.
