    V3 Gail Question???

    I must have some bad ground, as using the stock settings (for my ground or EMI) turns The V3 into a out of control Arcade Machine, and my VDI numbers bounce all over The world. For my type of park hunting 6-8 inches is good enough for me. If the ground is wet I will get an extra inch or so...

    I have my Gain at 4 and the Disc sensitivity also at 4, And let The V3 do it's magic, I still get good Depth, but with a very stable machine, with solid VDI Numbers. I also ran this at a wet sand salt beach with good results .......... Don't be afraid to turn down the gain/sensitivity below...

    If your passing up on iffy Signals , Then your Passing up the Deep targets. I had a iffy Signal On the wet Salt water beach this morning, I stopped to investigate to find a Nickel at 10 + inch's in the wet salt sand surf.

    Welcome, In The Evening While sitting at my Easy chair, I put the V3 in my lap and navigate Thur The Menu System, To get familiarize with it. This helps out on your 1st couple of Hunts. Knowing your V3's Menu Structure ahead of time.

    Spending some time getting to know your detector pays off ! :beers: Nice find :beers: I will check into MM next Beach outing, I did play with MM a little, as the New mix mode was interesting with disc in one ear and all metal in the other ear.
