2500 & Zinc penny's

Can The 2500 ID The Zinc's, from The Rest of The coins, I understand The Deep ones can be tricky To ID Correctly , I'M talking about the ones in the 1-6 inch depth Range ???

It can but there are some very good items that fall on the zinc cent notch. My advice is dig the zincs. Save them in a bottle and when its full clean them up, roll them, and buy something cool. I buy silver coins with my zinc cents. Wen you find an IH cent, or silver coin, or, silver ring, or even a gold ring on that notch you'll thank me.

One thing they'll do is ID quarters as cents unless you jockey the coil around gently to accurize the ID. You can try that ( as you may be missing some quarters ) and you can do the "twitch" which will bump the accuracy and depth up a few notches since the 2500 is a "motion" detector.
