    Still the stock coil will do all of that. I am trying to find a good reason to spend the $100+ for the same depth but smaller size coil that does just about the same thing.

    Since I've read the report by Sven on the new round coil, he says it weighs the same and gets the same depth, what do you think the advantages of the round coil would be? I am happy with the stock coil.

    Since you have tried both the stock coil and now the round, would you prefer the stock coil over the round if you didn't need a smaller coil? If I'm hunting yards and parks and I don't mind the larger coil, what advantage will I gain by using the round coil?

    I bought my Vaquero woth lifetime warranty seven months before they closed. It's still like brand new and it's probably my favorite but I haven't learned the tones. Busy with my new Nokta Simplex Plus. The Simplex is good but if you super tune that Vaquero I don't think many will touch it.

    You had one of the best metal detectors ever made. The reason it chattered is because it was a hot rod with a bad ass cam. You made it a Volkswagen beetle. No going back now.

    Strange Problem or User Error

    I've been thinking about these coil options on the new coils and I see no reason to buy a new one. If they would have made a smaller DD coil I might have been interested but not a round and definitely not an Eliptical. My stock coil would be far superior.
