    New E-Trac + 3 Hrs = silver

I got about 3 hrs on my new e-trac and found my first e-trac silver tonight. I found it at a place I have been hunting on and off for 11 years now. It was a really good clean signal and there was a nail in the hole with the dime. That's a first for me. This dime may prove to be expensive though...

Big silver two Barbers and a V

I would guess about a foot or better based on my depth with the 5.3 but I am just guessing. My main coil of choice is the 5.3 I don't use the D2 that much.

    Help with a test

I couldn't agree more with this statement. I have seen no proof that correlate is the way to go all my deep copper and silver has come from best data. And that guru thing is getting annoying when those "gurus" start posting something other than clad maybe all start listening. I have tried...

v3i gives very inaccurate depth readings

The bottom of my V3 says pump 4 times for ground balance. Hopefully that's been removed from the V3i. It can take 10 to 15 pumps sometimes. He might be talking about the on the fly depth reading on the search screen that one is very inaccurate.

Anyone ever run the below settings? Acts like a different machine!

All of my good deep finds have come from very conservative settings. I usually run Rx between 6 and 10 and disc around 70 to 85. A Rx of 11 and disc at 85 got me a 8+" seated dime and that was with the 5.3 coil my recovery was at 100 it gave a perfect soft high tone and the 2.5 and 7.5 were...
