    1200 series different frequencies

    Why is it that the 1266 is 4.8khz. the 1225 is 5.5khz, the 1270 is 7.8khz and they all take the same coils?

    Anybody here buy one of those big 12"x13" or 15"x17" NEL DD coils in 3 Khz? that would be a deep silver coin monster! I'm thinking about doing just that and thought I'd check here.

    SEF coil for XLT

    I think I found a way to use many different coils other than whats available for the XLT. I was told that the bounty hunters use the same frequency and that there were adapters available so you could use them interchangeably with Whites 6.59khz. If this is so, then why not use the many new coils...

    Quantum XT Info?

    I just bought a mint Quantum XT for $200 and wonder what coils I can use? I've heard its a good detector and I'd appreciate hearing anybodys experience with it How is it for deep silver?

    CTX 3030 Question?

    I'm older with some health problems and I was thinking about getting the CTX 3030 as my last detector. I have very little computer skills and no zero about 'programs'. Is it possible to use this detector without ever connecting to a computer or having to make programs? Can you just turn it on...

    Meter question

    How stable are the Sunray, Ron's, Minelab meters at deep targets? will they register the same for a dime at 2" and at 9". If not how deep do you think they are accurate? Also what methods do you use for estimateing depth?

    Freedom Ace Plus

    Got one coming from Ebay for $50, I had one for many years and found mucho coins,rings etc. I thumbed that disc. knob and knew what I had. And does it give a clear target signal! And good depth too. I've got other detectors but this one is a fun machine all the way.
