Still Finding Silver in Central New York

It was about 5 inches deep in very wet mix of dirt and gray clay. You would dig a plug, and it would start to fill with water. It had rained 2 days straight...

Silver is getting very hard to find around here. First area was an old Indian Canoe Portage in the City. Here I found what I think is a shoe...

No Silver, but some Interesting Finds

Went back to a park that it out in a very backwoods part of the area. Did not find any Silver (I am convinced someone else Cherry Picked this Park), but I did manage a 1940s HUBLEY Gas Tanker Truck made in Lancaster, PA. New Friends and New Places

A New friend from Canastota came into town to do a little 'tectin' with me Sunday Morning. We were out bright and early at 7am, and the humidity was the lowest it has been in 2 weeks. That all changed by about 9am, but it was still tolerable. Hit a new to me school yard first, and my first...

It found a Large Cent and a Rosie, while my friends XLT and my e-Trac came up empty in the Silver and pre-1800 category. I found 6 Wheaties and...
