In Northern Virginia, any locals willing to hunt?

Hi boys and girls....I am in Northern Virginia right now, in Williamsburg area. Would appreciate VERY much if someone up this way could find it in their heart to take this old man hunting somewhere I might find an early 1800's coin potentially, or earlier. I have never been up here before, and...

    Garrett Pinpointer nickel trick question

I just got me a G Pro pinpointer. I know about the nickel trick, or washer, but can anyone tell me, why a nickel? Would a dime work better? How about a silver dime? Why or why not? Penny? Why a nickel? I will still keep my X-1 probe on my etrac, but use the GPP as a backup....... HH Dennis

Bottle Cap infested site.....TTF or Cond? 12X15 SEF, Stock coil, or 8X6 SEF?

OK folks, got a scenario..... This next week, I am going to an old campsite/swimmin hole, dates from 1850's, closed in 1930's from public use, and access was shut off completely in 1950's. I have hunted there before, but not found too much. Best coin so far was by a hunting partner, who found...
