    CTX CARRY BAG CAN IT BE PUT IN WASHING MACHINE

    I purchased a minelab ctx carry bag about 4 months ago, now the bag is really badly mud spattered all over , i find that wiping down don't really get it clean so my question is how do you guys clean the bag. I wonder if placing the whole bag in the washing machine would ruin it.

    What i like and don't like on my CTX 3030.

    I have owned my ctx for about 3 to 4 months now and been on around 30 hunts with the machine. Overall i like the detector but for me it has a few things that i don't like too much.     Thoughts on coin depths.

    I once got a honest 10 inch medium sized coin with an SE the signal was fairly iffy but good enough to say dig me excellent depth if you look at a tape measure and see the depth in front of your eyes . Mostly i get coins no deeper than 7 inches i think most coins don't sink deeper than 7 0r 8...

    You want depth? Try the super 12......It works Great.

    I agree the super 12 has awesome depth . I used a super 12 on the dfx and got strong hits on large coins at depths of 10+ inches , the coins at 10 inch sounded like they they was at 5 inches! . Truly a really superb coil the super 12 no question about it. The best yet from whites ... nice

    Upper white shaft for explorer 2

    Does any one know of any UK suppliers who still have the upper (white coloured) shaft left for my ex plorer 2 . all that is available now is a black shaft which i don't like.

    Re charge pack - replacing the cells.

    You would be surprised just how little difference there is between top range whites and middle range whites detectors on depth. Gp out hunting with some one with a mid range whites and cross check the signals , you will find that virtually every signal you get with V3 or dfx will also be got by...

    The display on the explorers gives the user quite a lot of information about the target, for me i think that the dual readouts of ferrous and conductivity are unbeatable but i often wish that the third parameter i would like to have on my explorer 2 is a target size feature. Maybe something...
