Explorer 2 finds Gold Rings .

These were found on a ball park using the detech excellerator 8 inch concentric coil. The larger ring was at about 3 inches and read F10 C 5 numbers varying slightly, number lock on was not too good because the ring is broken the numbers don't seem to lock on but these numbers kept showing...

Depth comparisons yesterday.... I was shocked

A few years ago i buried a coin about 5 inches down in the back garden , i scanned over the coin with the explorer and got a null (no signal) , i went over the same coin with the dfx and got a solid signal. I am not sure what to make of it all but one thing for sure is the whites are one...

How much depth do you guys want.:clapping:

I want 18 inches on a small hammered coin plus i want discrimination to this depth , no good if i have no ID. I hate digging iron at 18 inches .

    V3 Recovers lost wedding ring

The dfx was good on rings , if the v3 is even better on rings then thats a winer for me.

    Spectra V3?

I would guess the "original visions" will be sought after in time definetely. Like a coin that is mistruck at the mint the rarity makes them sought after. Yep the guys who have visions have a future classic in my opinion.

Attention Whites or other coil builders

I also thought about that idea , it would be a dual type coil with switching between coils done by a press of a button or flick of a switch- super idea but i doubt we will ever see it.....

Does mark rowan still work for whites. Was he involved with the design of the vision.

The dreaded Iron Question with some pictures.

On sites that you know have targets masked out by iron , sites that you know are "worked out" then my method is to start digging all iron signals and having a look inside the hole once the iron is out to see if any good targets are still down there. This is hard work but you can still come...

    :surrender:Target Shape.

I have been looking at the screens thats steve posted of various coins and rings etc , i am trying to figure out how we are supposed to tell the shape of a target. I can see how the sizing feature works but how do we know the shape of a target. The vision is claimed to have size / shape id..

    Zinc pennys and bottlecaps.

I have just re checked the signatures and looking closer i agree the bottlecap shows a wider signature at the base of the waveform , i guess with practice it may be actually possible to tell the difference. The sizing feature is going to be a real useful aid at discriminating a lot of junk out...

    Zinc pennys and bottlecaps.

Just been looking at the zinc penny and bottlecap signatures , from what i see both look exactly the same . I can't see even a small difference .

I think this is an April fool joke.

When i first read about this new whites machine my first thoughts were also that it was some kind of joke , but now i see it's the real deal. All we can hope for is that this is not going to be DFX with tons of bells and whistles and is actually going to be a lot better discriminator and deeper...

    Size and Shape

Thats a good question , i have also been thinking about how the detector can tell the true shape of a target. I know garretts have a sizing feature but to tell the true shape of a target i honestly can't believe it possible to truly show a targets shape. Just how can a detector tell the shape...

My Coin Computer with DFX battery pack fitted.

I have been using this old teknetics coin computer for 2 years now, i bought it cheap as a non worker as the battery connections were corroded as usual with these super snazzy detectors. Easy fix, just solder a whites battery pack with positive and negative from the battery pack soldered to...
