    Deus lower rod improvement.

This is for using the simplex or Legend carbon fiber lower rod with a Deus or Deus 2. This is all you need, a nylon spacer 2 thick rubber washers and Sand each side of the lower rod down just a little bit so that there's plenty of space on each side where it's not rubbing the inside of the coil...

XP Deus II could use some simple fixes for diving. Please read XP techs.

I used the locking mechanism from detecting doodads and so far I like it really well. I use it on all of my shafts now. The wire going up to the center of the shaft I do that also that's very nice.

Anyone using Anderson shaft for Deus II?

I am and so far I love it. I like the way the remote sits on the mount and can swivel some to make it easier to see screen. Plus it has more length than I will need which is saying alot since I'm 6'4" and always use a tall man's rod. Also for beach use I can tighten coil down much better to...

    XP Deus 2 wear.

I do agree that small grains of sand will eventually get in some place but in the short period of time that I've hunted on the beach it has caused a large amount of wear especially on the end of the lower shaft it's chewed it up like it's been put up to a grinder. The side with a rubber washer...

    XP Deus 2 wear.

Yeah I had a problem with the equinox doing the same thing with the stock shaft then teardrop shaped rubber washers wore out quickly and started wearing on the ears of the coil. After I got my aftermarket shaft I never had any more issues with the coil ears on the equinox. But on the Deus if you...

    XP Deus 2 wear.

I'm getting some wear on the non rubber washer side of my coil and my lower shaft. You can see the pictures I posted here .. two of the pictures show no wear at all and the other two pictures show a lot of wear. I Beach hunt mostly on the beach and within a foot or two of water. I rinse off...

Come on Xp , This Is Not On!!!!

Okay I went out and double checked stock programs and in general mode it does not pick it up unless you change the discrimination slightly, and in sensitive mode sensitive full tones and fast... The sensitive mode with pitch tones picks it up easily, the fast mode and sensitive ft I needed to...

Come on Xp , This Is Not On!!!!

Yes rusty square nail was 1.25" higher than the dime. Both of my detectors picked up the dime in every mode I used as long as disc was lower than 8. Some hunting modes did not matter with disc but some did. Due to the sound of the tones it was harder to hear in full tones but of you set iron...

Come on Xp , This Is Not On!!!!

Actually I tried both of my D2 detectors one with a 9-in coil one with 11 in coil .. I picked up the dime in every mode and in every tone option now I will say it's easier to hear if you use pitch because it jumps right out at you. But I always use pitch tones in iron infested sites because it...

Come on Xp , This Is Not On!!!!

I just tried this with my 11-in coil and the version is 71 and I can pick up the dime and it's about 1 inch below the nail .. I tried several modes and deep HC is what I was using last and it did help to run my discrimination down to seven or lower I normally run it at 5.5 to 6 but for this test...

I was ALMOST really impressed with the D2...

Hi maybe I missed it but which coil do you have on the deus 2?

This is NOT a loaded question for the legend... to those that had already purchased one..

I would say the build quality is pretty good it was just a okay detector. I mean I enjoyed it while I had it but it wasn't good enough for me to keep so I traded it in for a second Deus 2. It had good tones but I just didn't like a few things about it. The screen scratched extremely easy. And...

    And the Winner is!!

My second Deus 2 will be here tomorrow. I wanted a 9" coil so I ordered the whole detector. It's fine I will use it all.

📸 Does anyone have a Picture of the D2 strap that you can fasten/unfasten the remote to the handle 📸

Can use 100lb test braided fishing line. No clips, just thread it through the remote then while installing remote on stem mount just loop the braided line around middle shaft as in the video and twist remote once and pull shaft down, lock it then install remote. No plastic parts to break.

Where is the Legend 13.5''x12.5'' Coil?

Love mine. Seems deeper and locks on targets better

This experienced detectorist Paystreak Superfreak on YouTube is struggling with Deus II recent software updates

I retired at age 43 with full benefits from Dept of Corrections. This has nothing to do with being really smart. He didn't design anything, just tried to destroy things after the other guys made them. I'm thinking that's what he said on the video.

Xp adds larger target ID option to Deus 2 remote- video

I did the update This is exactly what I was looking for perfect.

What are your beliefs about metal detector? Old Tech VS New?

The Deus lower rod is a little bit shorter than the Simplex lower rod. The Simplex is also made of carbon fiber. And yes they do interchange in the shaft but it's a little bit different story at the coil It's about the same width and you could make it work but you'd have to put some kind of a...

    Why so much coil cable?

I ran it up inside the stem and drilled a little hole in the remote mount to bring it out to attach it to the remote I trimmed off what I didn't need which was three feet or more and it works perfect.
