    Can I have an electronics shop modify my HH PI?

    I want change my coils on my HH PI and my Diver. Would they be able to add the connectors to the hard wired coils to make them interchangeable? I think this would work in theory but would I need to have them tuned to the detector again? Thanks Emmett

    Thise unit is in great shape. It has less than 20 hours of use on it. I always use the coil covers. The lower rod is tight but Tesoro said if the lower rod is sent in they will replace it free! I do not have the warranty card as it was lost. This unit comes with the 8x9 and 12x10 coils. New this...

    Can Fisher change the coil on a 1280X?

    I am going to buy a Fisher 1280-x and it has the older white coil on it. I want to change it for the newer spider type coil. Can Fisher do this for me? Thanks Emmett

    Is the HH PI and HH Diver coils interchangeable without any tuning?

    I broke my HH PI coil and wish to use my 8 inch coil from my HH Diver. these are both the hard wired type and not the new type. Thanks Emmett

    I snapped the coil on one side and do not want to spend $270.00 for a replacement. If anyone can modify my HH PI to accept a different coil for under $200 I would appreciate it. Thanks Emmett

    Sir, I cracked the coil on my HeadHunter PI. would you be able to adapt a different coil to my Detector and how much would it cost? I think $270.00 to replace the stock coil is a little steep for a detector that always seems to be breaking on me. Thank You, Emmett Wilent
