    New permission, hunted with Deus II

    Finds are from a new permission. Hunted for a few hours Sunday and then Monday and Tuesday after work. All crop fields but still loaded with aluminum can slaw. It is really terrible in my area. Sunday my trash bag was completely full. I've started carrying a 5 gallon bucket in the field with me.

    Yes, it stays solid green when fully charged. I forgot how long but it does take a good while to change the first time. Have you got it on a phone charger or just a cable? I'd connect it to a name brand charger.

    I'm sure you mean 15 inch. Yes, 800 coils will work on the 900 but not on the Manticore.

    I'm liking the way the 900 swings. I do have a problem with the coil being so tight. It's tight but it still moves when I set it down to retrieve a target. Then it's not that easy to level out when I get back up. Puts a lot of pressure on the coil when leveling back out.

    I always use Park 1 because I believe it gives a more accurate ID on deeper targets. But I really haven't checked to see if thats still true on the 900. This spur wasn't deep though, only a few inches in a plowed field.

    I found very little this weekend as far as nice finds go. But I'm very happy with this spur even though it's not in the best of shape. From what I can find online it's a Union officers spur. If anyone knows different, let me know. Thanks

    Deus II 9" or 11" coil

    I have both, the 11 reports better on deeper targets but the 9 is still plenty deep. The 9 is definitely more pleasant to swing.
