    found some glass in the river

    Found a bottle site not too far from home. 10 miles then half mile by boat.

    Three hours on the river seaching the bank and a close run in with a large copper head and I found a few bottles and a nice large marble. I love old glass .That is what got me treasure hunting while playing in Mobile bay when I was a kid and pulling old bottles up every now and then.

    The good finds from this virgin yard are starting to dry up. I found my first silver half and also a Red Ryder token. This yard has gave up 16 silvers and 43 wheats. These spots are hard to come by now a days. It has been fun.

    2.5 hours after class and I found my first silver half with a silver dime and a nickle in the same hole and then five feet away ,4 silver dimes in the same hole. My last dig was a Red Ryder token of some sort. :super:

    Well I was told not to hunt one house the other day but I could go and hunt their rental . The yard I left was full of goodies but the son did not want me digging there. The rental home turned out awesome .Virgin yard ! I spent 4.5 hours and still have lots of ground to cover.

    The etrac sniffed out this size 14 ,14K gold band . First gold with this machine and first gold of the year. Found at a home site . The lady that gave me permission came back and said her son did not want any one digging the yard.. It was good while it lasted.

    Etrac finds relics

    Strange day.I found two post CW eagle buttons on a CW battle field. Must have been an old home site at one time.Also found an 1890IH cent and a 43 merc. Still searching for a gold coin,maybe 2012 will give one up.

    I found a field yesterday that turned up old lamp parts and what not .Went back this morning and found a musket ball,small buckle and my first stirrup. No coins yet but I know they are there.

    Hey, buying one of the 12 volt systems in the next few months and wonder what I am getting getting myself into. Mainly I want to pull bottles out of the inner banks of NC. Which system is the pest for the money? Pros and cons? Any information would be great. :cheers:

    Just got it last week. I have used tesoros with good results the last few years and became a believer in minelab this past summer when a friend sold me his excal because he had an etrac which he used on the beach and then I had friends tell me of their finds and how deep they were going ect ect...

    wanted to trade for a tejon

    I have a well used 1280x with a hard case and I am looking for a used tejon that works well. The Fisher 1280x is a land /water machine. I used it this summer at cap cod with no problems.

    counting down

    I am flying home this week so I had to hit the beach one last time. I hunted about 17 hours and found 5 rings and a broach. It was a good last hunt .
