    Last Wednesday I found a very nice men's diamond ring. It has five pretty large diamonds. weight 9.6 grams. (I have a diamond tester). I have found many gold rings over the years but I think this one is going to be the best. I will have it appraised. Will try to do a pic later.....Jack

    Explorer XS problem

    Picked up my XS to do a little hunting and the detector would not turn on. Tried different battery pack ( good voltage), tried different coil. Before I send it in to Minelab hoped maybe someone would have a simple suggestion to cure problem.

    Being a recent owner of a Minelab Explorer XS, I have a question. Does Sunray or Coltec have a lighter say 10" or 10 1/2" coil that is lighter than the Stock 10 1/2" coil. If so how much lighter.

    I am new with an XS Explorer. I can not find a gain setting. I find sensitivity setting but not gain. Are they the same thing. (Like I say new to the Explorer)

    One thing about the F4. My understanding it will take the Bounty Hunter coils. Then there is quiet aray of coil sizes for it starting out. I have the 4",7",8",&10" coils already for it.

    Help. I am new to GPS and after going through the 83 page manuel several times I still cannot enter any coordinates. I want to take up geocaching but having trouble entering coordinates in my Magellan Explorist 200. Any help would be apreciated......Jack

    I searched the Minelab site to find the actual weight of the Explorer 11. It told everything about the Explorer 11 except the actual weight of the Explorer 11. Does anyone know the actual weight of the Explorer 11?

    How is the Exterra 70 on salt water beaches. I know this subject has come up before but I didn't need to know then.

    I continue to see post where someone is comparing the Ace 250 to a detector that sells for 3 or 4 or5 times the price of the 250. That says a heck of a lot for the 250 I think.

    I would like to relate a test a friend and I did on the 250. We took a combined total of 65 gold rings we had found. Mostly in swimming areas. In coin mode with one extra block added which is to the left side of the nickel block as some small white gold and platinum read quite low in the foil...
