    WM 10 Wireless question??

    Since the recharging of the wireless remote is via a USB cable cord plugged into the Minelab charger, can the wireless remote also be charged using a Mac/Pc laptop USB port?

    plastic stiffener piece?

    Has anybody removed the plastic stiffener in the coil wire where the coil cable connects to the control box? Mine became disconnected from the cable and I reconnected it. But is it something that is necessary? What is the advantage to having it in the cable? Thanks for your imput.

    Gold From a Trashy Park

    Did a 3 hour hunt at a very trashy park. Didn't find too many very deep targets, to much masking, but lots of 2" to 4" targets. Numerous pull tabs but one nice 3.4 gram 585 (14k) gold ring. HH Gary

    Coil Cable Abrasion--What are you doing about it?

    What is the most effective way to protect the coil cable from being shredded where it inserts into the lower rod? I've put gorilla tape on the sharp edges of the lower rod and on the coil cable itself. But now the tape is being shredded. What say y'all.

    Cell Phones/Towers and the ctx

    If I remember correctly, didn't the e-trac experience some problems with interference from cell phones or was it cell phone towers? If either one is correct, has anybody noticed any interference from their cell phone/cell phone tower while hunting with the ctx?

    Making a new pattern from an old one.

    Can a new coin pattern/settings be made using an existing one that the user has made? In my case, so far, I can only build a new pattern from the default minelab coin pattern that's in samples.
