    Saw this story this morning. I guess Florida may be a tough place to go to metal detect. It's to bad. Everything old doesn't have to be in a museum, does it???     Has anybody experienced this...

    I was out on a hunt at the beach yesterday and when I turned on my Garrett pin pointer, to find a target, it made my CTX go nuts. I haven't experienced this problem at the beach, or any other place before. I did a noise cancel and the problem went away. Has anybody else had this happen to them...

    Short hunt produces:smile:

    Really short hunt today, about 45 minutes. Wasn't finding much, couple of dimes, nickels, a few pull tabs, until this showed up... The ring, 14K gold, was only about 4-5 inches down and rang up a solid 12-12.
