    Last hunt of 2012

    Choppy/Break-up pinpoint problem

    Called Minelab about the "choppy" sound when pinpointing a target. I have to send the unit in to be checked out. So, sent the CTX in yesterday...now it's wait time. I'll let you know what they find out. In the meantime back to the E-trac for awhile.

    Sound "choppy" while pinpointing

    Has anyone had this happen to them? While in pinpoint mode, using any of the ctx coils, when I pinpoint a target, the sound gets choppy, breaks up. This doesn't happen all the time, but enough to make me wonder if there is a problem with the ctx. This happens whether or not I'm using the...

    HELP! CTX won't turn on!!

    A friend of mine can't seem to get his ctx to turn on. He's tried removing the battery, tried different batteries, AA and a second re-chargable one, Hooked it up to his pc and started up eXchange 2 thinking that might help. It didn't.
