    Question abut F70 Discrimination settings

    I set my disc on the f70 at 6, it shows iron slashed out, then when I exit the menu back to the detecting screen the iron is no longer slashed out and I can pick up items with a value as low as 5...not sure whats going on

    What happened to the fluty tones?

    I could tell a coin from almost anything with the explorer, only used the Etrac a couple times, but it seems the tones lost there sound. They all sound kind of flat and monotone to me...

    what settings would you use in a trashy plowed field?

    Been hunting farm fields where houses once stood. I have been getting spanked with my explorer by a 79.00 Chinese metal detector. I know the constant null is causing me to miss targets. Thanks for suggestions

    Minelab should make an 8" Pro Coil

    I love the new Pro Coil, but it would be nice to have an 8" Pro Coil for the arsenal as well. Obviously weight is not really an issue with the 8", but it would be nice to have the added depth, separation, and stability that the Pro has over the old coil. What are your thoughts?

    Would the the F75 be a good partner to my Explorer SE?

    Basically i'm looking for a 2nd detector to hit all my sites with. Wanting something that is very fast (explorer is not) with a quick recovery speed to cherry pick the goodies. I considered ordering a GoldMaxx (too expensive from the UK) but thought the F75 would be nice with its target ID...
