    I tried today and posting my results as I promised the fox's program with 10dd coil. I do not know I am so sad to say that it was too noisy giving me +94 signal all the time for an instant and then disappearing. I have found some targets but all at 3 to 4 inches. Any help appreciated.

    What makes me dig is the tones at first and then vdi number and finally pinpointing checking the frequencies. At least to be honest these are the things I am doing by far to determine if it worths to dig. Now I believe what gave more depth, is it first the filter and then excepting more targets...

    I did n't have the chance to use all of settings yet but probably I will do tomorrow, the things I changed are filter, rx, recovery delay and discrimination. But its true that I had a hit I could n't get before, I will post my findings tomorrow.

    If you use single frequency gets very sensitive with very small targets. My self I was using once the 7.5 freq and found a few very tiny copper nuggets a couple of millimeters may be big. 22 frequency is got to be even more sensitive with such as these low conductive targets.     Maybe you have the all metal setting too high. If it's a shallow target and large you might have that as you describe.

    Thinking of trading down to MXT Pro from my VX3?

    I would n't sell the V to get a single frequency detector. I 'd rather get a loop of my liking spending less and have the three frequency to work anywhere I want.
