    If some of you guys can list that tid number being new with the equinox... as I am seeing a lot of jumpyness with these numbers... is 13 /nickel the only real stable reading?

    great info on the 12, 13 14... and I know someone who will say 14 may be gold... I am amazed at the tiny pieces of metal it picks up!

I am looking for... up to now the only solid reading I am getting is the 13 for the nickel... quarters for me 29-30...even 31... crazy how they have the zincoln and wheatie with other coins hitting in-between.. or the dime basically showing the same...     Thanks Jim I have been going over what everyone has said...I haveva lengthy conversation going on at another site... I am finding that the two biggest soft spots seem to be target id...and the poor depth reader... Already know I am justbl going to listen how the detector songs out those tones...

    Thanks Jimmy lots of info. and I do know what you mean about the sensitivity ..once I learned the DFX I always used to crank it and enjoyed it... then I would pull back slightly...But a lot of info thanks.

    Thanks and I agree it reminds me of the explorer but with a faster response and I noticed it picks up a ton of low reading (1-10). Which yes I understand there could be gold hiding...
