    Unless things happen differently than what I've been hearing, very few will receive their machine in the first shipment. I'm third on a list and expecting mine end of February. I hope I'm wrong.

    15" Coil Ear Stiffener Choice?

    Stiffeners don't work. They still break. You would really have to modify by adding extra parts and epoxy them on. Check out Gigmaster videos for modifications. It took mine almost 3 years to break but it broke with a very expensive coil stiffener in place.

    To be honest I missed the fact that the batteries only had a 2 year warranty. Can the battery on this waterproof controller be replaced?

    Already have the Deus II on order and probably will sell one of my 800s and probably the second one if I just love the Deus II. Either way I don't plan to ever buy another minelab again, unless they replace their pods that flood with one that doesn't. And I really don't expect that to happen...
