    Battery problems

if you are talking about the button on the side of the adapter with the prongs to plug into your ac, that button just releases the prong plate. The chargers now come with a universal adapter kit with different plug configurations, the prong plate part just goes on, turn a little to the right...

    V3i Coin Program

As Postal Two says, you can restore the program from the Library, as this Library is permanent, you cannot delete anything from the Library. I too bought a used V3i and I have the original V3i that I bought back in 2013. The first thing I noticed was that the programs were in different order...

Thanks, Sataro. Pickings are pretty slim in West Texas, as most of my detecting buddies have already hunted most places SEVERAL times. I have been hunting 2-1/2 yrs and the other guys have been hunting 10-30 yrs.

Well, I haven't posted in a while and within the last month, I have had 2 firsts for me, so I decided to show them. First of all I live in West Texas and out here, we do not have the good sites like there are up in the northeast, we feel lucky to find a wheat penny and really get excited if and...

    Silver Drought Ends!

We are in west Texas and silver coins hardly ever come out of our ground shiny. Most of the time they are almost black or extra dull grey. Like Blind Squirrel said, they hit about 86-87 VDI on the V3i and clad quarters will hit 83-85

Back to the 1 of 25000 1931 Token

Well, I decided to go fight the prarie dogs for more of their treasures. I did not find much at all, this second trip, except some copper and brass pieces. Then I got a 70ish VDI hit and tone and thought I had found maybe another wheat penny. It was only 3-4 inches, and when I dug the dirt...

    1931 Token

Well a hunting buddy and I went to another old lot in West Texas today. We had a full audience with about 20 prarie dogs skirting around the lot from hole to hole while we detected. I was not having much luck, but of course my hunting buddy had already found a couple of wheat pennies that were...

    Polar Plot

Thanks guys. I can already see from my experience, that I will just put my analyze screen back to pinpoint and do what I normally do. That being swing the coil, listen for the tone, look at the VDI and the bars on the screen, pinpoint and dig. As Fox says, "I would hate to not dig a pulltab...

    Polar Plot

Yes, I did see previous posts of yours and Fox that said 6" was a limitation sometimes, but the other targets that I found in my back yard were less than 4" and nothing on the polar plot. I had one that was 2 inches and was a piece of can slaw and it did not show anything on the polar plot for...
