    woods this afternoon

    I'll be heading back to the woods today around 2. I'll be taking a 5 gallon bucket with me this time though. My pouch was overfilled with bottle and can junk last time and there is still tons more out there in the way of the coins/bullets. If anyone wants to meet up let me know.

    Weekend Goodies

    Met up with a club member Friday morning for a couple of hours. I came home with 10 civil war era bullets and an 1888 IH. Like Larry said the bullets gave a horrible one way bleep if you were lucky but pinpointed fine. I didn't find the IH in a close proximity to the bullets. Sunday met up...

    Met Luke this afternoon and came home with 2 rosies a war nickel 3 wheats and and a 1932 swiss coin.

    Met Nathan for a morning hunt yesterday. I came home with 9 fired 3 ringers and 2 small 2 ringers that i assume were pistol bullets and an 1888IH. The 3 ringers were deep and only gave an iffy one way audio response and a tiny dot in the 12-39 to 12-41 range. Most were 9 inches or more and...

    Marking Spots

    I think one of the best features of this machine is marking find points. Too dry to be digging around here but I have a couple spots marked that I checked out over lunch messing with the settings that will be revisited once it rains. See you all at the meeting tonight.

    12.5 high pass 7.5 frequency Gets me a keeper:detecting:

    Last time I found a 1909 I stood up on my headphone cable and snapped it in half trying to get to the truck and my water bottle to see what I had. Turned out to be a 1909 no S no V.B.D. cost me 40 bucks for another set of cheap decent head phones. Won't make that mistake again!

    Went to Bradley Park today. Stayed away from Millejn3`s honey hole but still found some goodies. 2 indians 5 wheats and a 1935 merc that looks like it got hit by a mower or tiller. Has a slight warp to it.

    SunRay Leather Pouch

    Just ordered one direct from sunray. Can't wait to try it out. Lately I've just been carrying around my Lesche wrapped up in my drop cloth which works fine but I'm afraid I'll absentmindedly trip and stab myself with it and I don't like their sheath.
