    coin wont detect on a Safari!

    I have been doing some air tests on my new Safari trying to learn the sounds different coins produce. All U.S. coins sounded loud and clear but I put a Canadian 1985 5 cent piece over the coil and for some reason the Safari didn't sound off at all even in all metal mode. I cant figure out why...

    Is this a good usefull tool for pluging?

    Any opinions on the 505?

    I just got a new Safari and along with that they sold me a new 505 anyone use a 505? are they any good? I just couldn't pass it up for $1.00 more. I guess if its not a good unit I could always sell it. But if its a OK unit I could use it for a back up. Any opinions out there? THANKS!
