    A Few Bullets More

Are you getting standard vdi readout when you pick them up or are you going strictly off the all metal sound?

    A Few Bullets More

There are two hunts next weekend. one north east of orange and I'm not sure where the DIV hunt is. Ours is called the BMW hunt using the initials of the guys that organized it, 650 acres of camp ground. I've heard that the ground down there is ok in some spots and terrible in others. Where you...

    Out in the Field Yesterday

I'll keep that in mind. When you say the tone volume starts to increase, do you mean the threshold? I push my menu button when I set the detector down to take it out of detect mode. I just never liked it tracking while sitting still.

Need help adjusting for very bad ground?

Just did a quick google search and found that chicken manure, particularly hen manure, raises the PH value substantially. The poo in this area comes from an egg laying plant up the road. I would assume that both fields had the same application, so in theory something else may have come in to...

Need help adjusting for very bad ground?

Its been in corn for the past 2 years, but don't know about the fertilizing other than that they spread chicken poo on it. But that goes for both fields. The fields have sat untouched since corn was harvested, regardless. Thinking back, I've always had problems with this particular field, and am...

Need help adjusting for very bad ground?

Hunted an area today that apparently had very bad ground. Two harvested corn fields, one across the street from the other. Field one I had been buzzing along with no issues and even had tx boost on. Picked up and dug a few targets that were easily in the 6-8" range, though they weren't what I...

    hey all!

I haven't been on in a while, mostly just reading without posting but today felt like posting for a little bragging rights. Whites contacted me yesterday about a picture I had sent them asking for some information on it. I called them back and filled them in last evening. Again today I received...

    V3 relic hunt all metal

If I am correct, recovery speed is used in relation to an audio response in the discrimination mode and thusly would not come into play in all metal.

A V3 Teaser for upcoming video...

Good job on the bullets! The middle frequency is the way to go. Looking forward to seeing the video! I haven't used the mixed mode that the relic program comes in, but will be trying it when I can get out again now that I am accustomed to the machine.
