    OK. This may be crazy, but can you water proof a Safari?

    I mean, if you could, you would have an Excal with a few more freqs, notch disc. and some kind of display. Few more programs. Not for anything deep, just to 10 feet or so, in case a rogue wave knocks you on your butt. Might be cheaper than owning both machines. I don't know, just a thought.

    Safari and X-5 question

    When you are using the X-5 coil on your Safari to pick through the trashy areas, do you also run it in High trash mode? I am thinking that since it is a smaller coil, and you are moving a little slower, it would be fine to stay in low trash to keep the target ID a little more accurate. Am I on...

    Sunray X1 and the Safari

    I am very handy with tools. Is it that hard to adapt an X1 to the Safari? Can the above average mechanically inclined do it? Can I still run the cord thru the lower shaft? I really like that stream lined appearance. Looking at either the X1 probe, or the X5 coil. Thanks. Tony
