Changing the Operating Freq. for best depth?

Does anyone know which of the operating Frequency's. is best for brass items or most depth on the T-2? I know it has a bunch of different freq. to use in case of other detectors or interference from power lines and such but does the higher freq. work best or the lower freq? Thanks for any input!
