    Equinox 900 owners

Yes sort of....it is a round carbon fiber shaft. Plus it feels lighter too....not much but you can tell a difference. Oh your gonna like it if you get an eq900..the numbers bounce on the xterra pro the deeper the item is but with the multi iq on the eq900 the numbers will only vary slightly...

    Equinox 900 owners

I like the heck out of mine. I do not know if you used an eq600 or eq800 but, everything I like about the eq900 is what I wanted or thought was missing on the eq600 I owned about 2 or 3 years ago...maybe more. 1. Better made stock control rod set up. It is light, not wobbly and easy to adjust...

Thinking of getting a new detector, Equinox 600

Richard at backwoods metal detectors which is a sponsor here in findmall and also a dealer I have made several transactions with has a good preowned equinox 700 for sale right now at a very good price in the classified section of this forum. Here is a link to that unit...

Thinking of getting a new detector, Equinox 600

I saw your post on another forum and replied there as well but.....to be honest I would seek out the legend myself over the eq600. Due to the fact of the single freq use of 4 10 15 20 and 40 on the legend is selectable along with multi freq where as the eq600 is only 5 10 15 selectable single...

Richard at Backwoods Metal Detectors is top notch

I have bought a few things from him through the years. When he knows you are looking for something he doesn't waste anytime getting with you when he gets it in. One of the best dealers I have ever dealt with!!

(Want to sell) New Detectors Must Go !!!!!

The wsa2 are the regular smaller style wireless backphones with just volume controls and the xl ones are the same but just the larger style full ear coverage cuff.

    coil

You are right. They are very scarce. Richard at Backwoods took care of me though this week. Reach out to him and see if he has any coming in. He knew I was looking for one and when he got it he did not waste any time contacting me to see if I still was interested. Richard is a great dealer and...

    Exterra pro IDs stability

You will like it. The coin vdi on the 700 and 900 will spread the upper coin segment a bit to make it a little easier to ID before you dig. You know though, I had all 3 xp units for about 3 years. Orx, deus and about 6 months with the deus 2. If I was to get another xp and I may it would...

    Exterra pro IDs stability

Big difference with equinox 900. In single freq the numbers will bounce some but in multi iq it locks on very good...I have both xtp and eq900

Xterra pro = short coin hunt

Well it looks like the xterra is doing what it is supposed to do. I started a thread in another forum about the xterra pro and a guy from Spain is killing it on his beaches. He has already found several gold rings with his. It is a good unit for the money

    Finds with the 800 today...

Good small signals. I found my first precession cap with the eq600.

    X-TERRA PRO WIRELESS HEADPHONES

I just think everyone is just too wrapped up in the smf thing. So it sounds like you are happy so far with it. I too have experienced the iron not under the coil thing too when you go to pinpoint. As far as I am concerned it does what it is supposed to do......it beeps over targets. I was...

    New carbon fibre upgrade parts

Does anyone know how much weight difference there is on the new carbon fiber parts compared to the older stock parts for the legend?
  16. bigtim1973

    The legend.

I had a t2....original green one and f75 Ltd se. I have more experience on the f75. I like the numbers on the t2 better than the f75. It certainly is an easier machine to set up than the legend.....but once you understand the symbols for the controls it is not bad at all My main beef with...

    nox 700 shaft question

All you do is tighten the adjustable bolt on the locking collar until it stabilizes. Very easy to do and stays put

Advice on working in heavy iron with the D2

Use the deus mono program Less falsing using single frequency. Should help you out
  19. bigtim1973

Anyone tested the XT-Pro in rusty nails

I have used it in iron a little bit. It does pretty good. The ID fluctuates just like any other unit but it will puck the goodies out of it. Just be patient.
