    HI Thound to be honest with you seems lighter than the 10DD and its got coil cover on it,no weight at all i could swing it all day like i could the 10DD with coil cover on...:thumbup:

    I done a quick test in garden --rx-15 tx boost on no problems,tried 22.5 frequency on its own no problem,all three frequencys no problem,sensitivity probe-signal-6-7% noise 3.5-4.1%.....this was the 12x10 white coil..

    I have orderd the 12x10 sef,but do not own the super 12 but i think the super 12 will not get hung up on brush and branches like the 12x10 sef would if most of your hunting is done in woods,i orderd the sef coil because i hunt in open fields.have you read thread on here about the sef...

    i have found very,very thin wire one peace 1/2" long down 5",took me fifteen mi nets to find in the hole,pinpointer probe was telling me it was there but so small could not see it.. :look:

    after the batteries have been in charger and red light comes on i take them out of charger for few seconds then put back in,repeat a couple times then the batts are fully charged nearly 12 volts! this helps me..:wiggle:

    thanks rob, the ground i hunt is pretty sweet apart from odd iron and hot rocks,i know the 12"is heavier,but iam a big lad,its i have one chance to but one of these coils,i want the right one plus there is quite a price difference between the the two in shops here in UK...:shrug:
