    2012 final numbers and a video highlight of the season

    2012 metal detecting final numbers. Started detecting this year in mid September and ended December 18th. I used my ACE 250 for two of the 3 months. 95% of the silver finds came from the E trac as well as all the buffalo nickels and V nickels. 138 wheat cents"oldest 1910" 4-indian head pennies...

    last hunt of the year

    The forecast show 7-8 inches of snow coming tomorrow so this looks like the last hunt for the year. Also found one Buffalo nickel and 6 wheat cents. Its been a good year but even better was the last month when I got my E Track. Hope everyone has a great Christmas Dave

    good day all around

    Went out with two friends today and we all hit silver. Here are my finds along with 18 wheat cents. The other two found a total of 3 silver dimes 2 more Buffalo nickels one war nickel one Washington 1950 quarter and around 30 some wheat cents.

    Some finds from today and swastika token

    Went to a friends house that is 114 years old this morning. Found this stuff and 7 wheats which where all early teens. This is an interesting token. Its from a doll that was made in the early 1920's.

    3rd day in a row with big silver

    After trying four places and coming up with nothing but some wheat cents I decided to go back to a spot that has produced a lot before. After an hour and nothing I had a good signal and found this. The stars must be perfectly aligned the last few days.

    :crazy:MY BEST FIND EVER!

    According to the coin prices magazine this Barber half in worst shape is $240.00 I think its VG All I can say is it was sure fun to find and you should have seen the look on my face when pulled it out. Found about 2 feet from the sidewalk in the worst part of town at an old park. Let me know...

    Token silver and wheats today

    Kind of interesting finding tokens. Oldest wheat penny was 1918. So far the E Trac has produced silver EVERY time I have used it since I got it a week or two ago. Love the machine. Found more silver coins and jewelry in the last couple weeks than in the past 4 years...

    predator tools raptor 31.. Highly suggest it!

    Got mine last night and went out today with it. The ground was hard as our lows have been in the mid to upper 20's. It did a great job. Dug those 6-8 inch plugs with no problems at all and they are much cleaner than any other tool I have used over the last 4 years.

    Masonic penny and maybe a button

    Can anyone tell me about this masonic stamped penny? I also found this other object that I think is a button but not sure. Came in at 11-46 on the E Trac. Anyway I took a picture of the front and back. Any info would be great. Thanks Dave

    New E Trac =found some good stuff

    I received my new E trac late last week. So far I have scored a nice pocket watch and found my first Buffalo nickel in 4 years and a 1911 Barber dime. Several early wheat pennies " more than I have found all year." Its taken a bit to get used to but I think I have it dialed in now.

    Big Boy Hobbies.. Great to work with

    New E trac coming this week.

    Ordered a new E trac. I cant wait to get it. It will be a big step up from my Ace 250. I am sure I will have questions so stay tuned..LOL
