Well, I just spent a week in Destin, Florida. With the early Easter, the weather was a little chilly at first, but warmed up by Friday. I had to leave Saturday morning, though. It was a little too cool to get in the water, though. I hunted several beaches but I couldn't find the gold. I did get...

Sensitivity - Too much - Too little - when to adjust?

What is the best sensitivity. That is the question. Too much sensitivity can cause you to mask a good target. Too little Sens. can miss a good target. Different coils may require different sens settings. What are your opinions on this. Also, different types of ground conditions may warrant...

Well, I finally got out for a few hours Thursday morning to try out my new Joey coil. I hit areas that I've hunted many times before & still found a few goodies. The coil is definately going deeper & getting between the trash better. Although I didn't hit the motherload while performing the...

    :help:ID help needed:shrug:

I found this pin awhile back & haven't been able to ID it yet. It was about a foot deep, which would suggest that it is old & also, It appears to be handcrafted, which would also suggest that it is old. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks [attachment 46500 PINFRONT.jpg]
