    Well...I took the plunge!

    I've used mine for over a year and a half and really like the machine. If you hunt in 3 tone w/it notched/accepting 75 and above, for high tone and get a high tone but no numbers, switch to 2 tone. If you still dont get numbers dig it, Good chance it'll either be a really deep coin or just deep...

    Two days of park hunts

    $11.72, that included a presidential dollar coin, a "squaw buck" dollar coin and a 50 cent piece. I thought I had a small silver charm, but upon closer inspection, it's a ski slope pin from a french resort. the second cool thing I found looks familiar, but cant place it. reminds me of a shield...

    I will get some proper hard sole dive boots, ASAP. when available. My 8 hours w/shoes were in a gulf coast bay beach, w/mimimal waves, but sand still there. I just did the foot shake every once in a while, cleared them right up. I'll update after hitting the powder sand at lake beach.

    I was barefoot, but i might get some dive socks. I really didn't have much sand rubbing my feet, which surprised me. I'm heading to a lakeside swimming beach/park Thurs and will use the shoes again
