    Target ID numbers

    Good advise ^. Distinguishing the different tones is probably easy for most people but not me. I must be tone deaf or something. I can only distinguish the difference of 3 maybe 4 tones. The minelab tones work the best for me.

    I’ve always thought how much more jewelry would be returned if the owner had a name and contact info on it.     They have PLENTY of profit room so they don’t have to raise their prices. They most likely won’t because it’s not a necessity and it’ll cause lost sales.

    What makes a rusty beer can worth so much? It’s not its usability vs a new can. The value of those sorts of things are what people are willing to pay for them and that changes. On something like that my thought is it’ll be going down. Buy low and sell high!

    No way of knowing why. It could of been some sort of EMI. I do believe very dry dirt is the worse. Then again while detecting on a dry sand beach you’ll get great depth too.

    Just Curious.

    They always say you get extra depth but I lost depth on a quarter (buried at 9” for a few months) a day after a heavy rain. Maybe the minerals in the ground got stronger too, not buried long enough??
