    Good to know. I love all of my Detech coils on the V. They run full 15 sensitivity even with turbo on and work great, at least with the 8x6 coil! I never had a 5.3 coil.     Thanks. I got my cover today. I put it on and the side buttons so far are a pain, plus the glare on the cover screen in sunshine is very bad during my yard testing. I may send mine back. I would rather they didn't have any cover over the sides at all. Jm2c

    New coil

    The factory 11" coil for the Equinox is my least used coil, and I own two of them.

    5x10 Coiltek. I have had the Minelab 6" coil way before the 5x10, and it stayed on my shaft way more that the 11" coil. The Coiltek has been my goto coil on my Equinox since the first day I got it. I still have the 6" mounted on my 600 though.

    I agree. Detech 10x12. The 13" coil just doesn't cut it like the 10x12. The 8x6 Detech is wonderful. Good depth down to 9 inches. The V3i seems to have been made for Detech, just not the 13 inch.
