    New Coiltek 10X5

    I run mine at sensitivity of 19, and recovery speed of 7 on the 800. I feel those settings really does good in my old public parks to get the missed coins from previous hunts. You can swing it faster. I keep the 10x5 on my 800 all the time.

    Pinpointers What’s your favorite?

    Rumors. An insider of Garretts told me that Garretts had a new pinpointer, based around the Whites TRX and the Garretts Carrot, in process. That was a while ago, and no word about it. Garretts does own the pattens from Whites now. All rumors are just that...rumors.

    Looks like this forum is really dead.

    I have to weed thru nearly 90 percent "views" posts on the first pages, to be able to read actual metal detecting discussions. A metal detecting site shouldn't be like that, and lots of sites have a no politics policy.

    Battery holder for a TRX pin-pointer

    Do you seriously run a pin pointer battery down to worry about a simple battery? You turn on a PPr, pinpoint and turn it off and dig. Batteries last for months.
