First time cz3d owner wondering if the f75 compares

I looked: The Essex Saxon X-1 is one I've been eyeing for years, what is the frequency? I like Georgi's metered Nexus too.

First time cz3d owner wondering if the f75 compares

You gave up the vaunted T-2? Though it was your go to detector and you had done the best with it? I had a DMC-2B but the last hurricane took it (they are now as rare as a signed LOTR 1st edition.):hot: You do not like any of the new ML Noxs, Manticore, or the NM Legend? (I have 3 different CZ's...

Newer coins dissolving in the ground

The zinc cents and war time steel cents corrode and come apart quickly and even faster in salt water. The cents are made in the tens and hundreds of millions. (The U.S. Mint has never produced a single "penny" as that is an English coin. Our money is derivatives of cents: a dime is ten cents not...

    In Search of CZ6 Headphone

Does it have the original CZ-6 loop connector? The design was bad and causes problems too. At some point it will not work. (Before Troy Galloway made the Shadow he used a CZ-6, He drove from Dallas to the Big Thicket, pulled his CZ out and saw he forgot the pigtail, loaded back up & went back...

Whites tdi depth while prospecting for gold

Jimmy Sierra TDI coils (4x6, 6x10 and 8x14) work very well for locating small deep gold and much better than the stock Whites loops. I believe they are monos too. They have not been made in a while but are around and ground balance properly. The loops were made by Miner John/razorbackcoils as I...

Whites tdi depth while prospecting for gold

Jimmy Sierra TDI specialty coils (4x6, 6x10 and 8x14) take the machine to another level for locating gold and much better than the stock Whites loops. I believe they are monos too. They have not been made in a while but are around and ground balance properly. The loops were made by Miner...

First time cz3d owner wondering if the f75 compares

The stat mode on the F-75 is a cannon and is P.i. deep: the disc mode on the F-75 is superior in high trash areas, and there is a method to correctly identifying bottlecaps 100% if they are a problem to you also. Do not use any discrimination on the CZ because doing so makes it false on iron at...

    CZ-3d gone?

They can be found from dealers online. (Its a 30 year old design--look for a new unit soon.)

    CZ-3D Coils

I had the FZ 12 and the unit would not ground balance with it. Bill Ladd told me he used one because it had more ground coverage but I prefer the 10.5, it is much deeper than the 8". The 5" will give the overload signal on shallower quarters and halves. I do use the Sunray FZ-1 Target Probe too...

    CZ20 issue

I had that happen on a 6A and it was my coil connection in the unit. They will upgrade to a CZ-21 if they still have parts. You might contact Keith Wills at East Texas Metal Detectors also: https://www.brokendetector.com/

    CZ6a Lemons?

My CZ-6 was converted to a 6A and gets 11". Bought it in '92 and when I sent it in years later for repairs I was told they saw parts in it they had never seen before, "how old is it?" lol My 70-Pro & 3D were tuned by NASA Tom and have stickers saying 11-12 inches. He does nothing unusual just...

    Been away for too long

Older? My Garrett Master Hunter BFO is older to the point of ancient. Sometimes I wonder how anything was found but at that point its all there was. (Maybe an ALIEN left a TR in Area 51)
